The stunning five-star Divani Palace Acropolis will be the official conference venue.

Secret Acropolis, the hotel's award-winning rooftop restaurant with spectacular views of the Acropolis will host our welcome reception/dinner. We recommend you book early as rates are subject to availability at time of reservation. Cut off date for the group rate is May 3, 2025 or when the block is fully booked, whichever comes first. Rates include American Buffet Breakfast and taxes. Rates do NOT include mandatory "resilience tax" of €10 for each night.

Payment policy

• No prepayment is needed.

• You will be charged in EUROS on arrival.

Cancellation policy

• Free cancellation before 3:00 PM (local property time) on Sunday, May 4, 2025.

• If you cancel after 3:00 PM (local property time) on Sunday, May 4, 2025, the cancellation fee will be one night.

• If you cancel after 3:00 PM (local property time) on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, the cancellation fee will be the full amount.

• If you don’t show up, the no-show fee will be the same as the cancellation fee.

Booking terms & conditions

• A valid credit card is required to secure your reservation. For safety reasons, the credit card used and its owner, must be present upon check-in.

• The Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to the guest's arrival.

• Upon arrival, you will be asked for your credit / debit card which will be charged an amount equal to the cost of the room and taxes for your entire stay. Your credit/debit card will also be pre-authorized for any incidental expenses during your stay.

• Resilience tax of €10 applies for each overnight. This tax is surcharged on top of the rate and is payable by guest at hotel's reception.

The Majestic Santorini Hotel

The conference hotel for the Santorini add-on.

Please be advised that during our site visit we noted that there is some street noise in the Volcano View rooms. The East Sea View rooms have limited views of the other side of the Island and are quieter.

We appreciate that there are limited room categories at the Majestic. There are several hotels within a short walking distance with availability in a variety of room categories including the El Greco, https://elgreco.com.gr, which is less than a 5 minute walk from the conference venue.

We recommend flying to Santorini as the flight time is about 45 minutes, and there are over 20 flights a day. 

Aegean Airlines, https://en.aegeanair.com/, Volotea, https://www.volotea.com/en/  and Sky Express, https://www.skyexpress.gr/en are the dominant carriers. The drive from the airport to the hotel is approximately 10-15 minutes.

 

For those wishing to travel as a group Global Radiology is arranging a bus to transport registrants to the Athens's airport departing from the Divani Palace Acropolis at 10:30 am, June 5th. The Santorini Faculty will be flying on Aegean flight # 366 departing at 1:35 pm. There are 2 additional flights offered by Sky Express around the same time, flight #348 at 1:30 pm and flight # 350 at  2:00 pm. The Majestic Hotel will shuttle all registrants to the hotel upon arrival in Santorini. If you are not arriving on one of the above flights please provide the hotel with your flight info.

Registrants are responsible for purchasing their desired flights.

There are currently 3 companies that operate a total of 6-10 ferries a day between Athens and Santorini, the fastest, Seajets, https://www.seajets.com/ takes approximately 4.5 hours. The standard ferry is approximately 9 hours at sea. The port for the ferries is at sea level, so there is an additional 45 minute drive up a serpentine road to get to the main road before driving to the hotel. 

The Conference hotel in Santorini, The Majestic, offers free transfers between the port and airport to the hotel.

As we appreciate our registrants will have preferences based on their travel plans following the Santorini Add-on, we chose not to include transportation in the registration.
